Guivre
These draconics are sneaky little things. With their long serpentine body and long slender tail, they can slink into small places and wait in hiding. They usually live in swamps and marshes blending in perfectly with their swampy colored scales.
I have personally encountered several of these in Draconis, and they're always female, and they're always trying to drown me. And, honest to gosh, I don't know why. I've also heard they're particularly bashful around naked humans and won't attack them. But I don't think I can ever bring myself to test this!
Basic Information
Anatomy
They have a long serpent's body with a dragon-like face and horns akin to branches. Their scales are usually green, brown, or some other swamp colors. Strangely they only have two back limbs and no arms. These legs are similar to those of a bird of prey with razor talons and webbing in between.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Guivre have extremely sensitive skin and can navigate through the muddy swamp waters quite well. Their scales probably feel vibrations through the water.
One interesting thing about these draconics is that some have a large ruby stone on the tip of thier nose. I don't know what it's for, but according to some of the locals, it's for navigation.
Apparently, this is rare, because in order to have a stone at the nose the Guivre would have to have no eyes.
