Leviathan

Leviathans are one of the largest Aquatic Draconics. They are beasts of power and might. While on Earth they can be described as a colossal dragon, in Draconis when the people say Leviathan they are usually talking about specific large Sea Beasts or Sea Draconics.

]These creatures are actually quite ugly with their gaudy red eyes and bulky horns and scales. One of the things that make Leviathans so scary is the way they hunt their prey. I have not personally experienced this Leviathan-like hunting and I hope I never will.

On Earth—Leviathans=chaos/eats
the damned/sin of envy.
In Draconis—Leviathans=big scary
beast/please don't eat us.

Religion

Leviathans in Draconis are sometimes worshipped and feared as one would fear God. While on a long journey across the seas, sailors will sometimes sacrifice cows or sheep to the Leviathan by tossing them over the boat in hopes this will appease the giant beast.

Temples are even dedicated to the Leviathans. Many of these are found on beaches or islands. Whether the Leviathan has actual humans who worship him or people who simply fear him, I do not know.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Leviathans are colossus beasts. They have eyes the size of an extra-large pizza. Their red eyes are something that gives sailors nightmares for years if they are unfortunate enough to see them. Some tales say that Leviathans can have more than a pair of eyes, but I haven't seen this personally.

Along with their red eyes, they have huge horns and scales, usually some dark blue shade. Occasionally a Leviathan will have wings, but will more often than not have large flippers. If a Leviathan does have wings they are usually too small to be used for flight.

(We, humans should all be thankful, because you do not want these beasts flying, as cool as they are.)

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Leviathans have excellent eye sight, what with living in the darkest and deepest parts of the ocean. They are one of the smartest Draconics and seem to have the uncanny ability to track its prey from, at least 5,000 ft. below the surface of the ocean.

I don't know how they can do that, but I think that it's either their excellent eye sight or some sort of sense that allows them to narrow in on one vibration travelling through the water.
