Sea Serpent
Sea Serpents are NOT large underwater snakes. (You're welcome, people with Ophidiophobia). In fact, Sea Serpents are large underwater eels. These creatures are similar to Leviathans in size, but are much slimmer, have smoother scales, and usually lack horns, instead having spiny fins jutting out.
And while other Aquatic Draconics, like Leviathans, tend to keep to themselves, Sea Serpents love terrorizing human ships and ports.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Sea Serpents have dark blue and gray colored scales some with fins going up and down their back. They are long and slender creatures that mimic the look of a boa constrictor, but obviously much longer and thicker.
They tend to use their constrictor-like bodies to wrap around ships and eat the human crew before breaking it to pieces. Inside their eel-like mouth, they are said to have at least two rows of sharp pointy teeth.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Sea Serpents, unlike other Aquatic Draconic, have the amazing ability to hold perfectly still for long periods of time. They aren't sleeping or hibernating or waiting for prey. They are just holding perfectly still.
I don't know why they do this, but I find it fascinating. Sometimes I like to think that they're contemplating about strangely wise things, but that's just me.
Sea Serpents also have a great sense of hearing that's actually better than most Aquatic Draconic. The hearing is supposedly so it can hear the screams of its victims better, but that's just an unsettling thought.
A/N to Self: Hundreds of mythical variations of draconics live in the sea. None are called "Sea Serpents." Maybe mistranslation. languages changing? .
In Draconis, Sea Serpents are different from other draconics. Categorizing mistake? Humans never heard of Sea Serpents on earth? What if Sea Serpents are not called Sea Serpents? Could they be a kind of Leviathan?
