THE REVELERS OF THE GALAXY

The Vinian race are a recently emerged species to the wider galaxy. Hailing originally from the distant planet of Concordia, they now travel the 'verse in flying "craftworld" cities such as Zehiron, bringing revelery wherever their hooves tread. Until the dawning of the new age Vinian society had been cut off from the rest of the 'verse as they had not yet achieved FTL technology. However, fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint), planet Concordia was discovered by the Ng Yelian Empire and brought into its fold.
The Vinians have a distinct 'satyr' like appearance with horns that protrude from their skulls, furred legs, and cloven hooves. They have gained a reputation for being a jovial species whose tolerance for alcohol and spirits is unmatched.
While still relatively new to the 'verse at large, the Vinians decision to travel the stars upon craftworlds have made them natural merchants in the galaxy. Where they tread, they bring resources, supplies and perhaps most importantly the cultures of other alien civilizations from far corners of the universe to its heart. The Vinians are naturally gifted storytellers with a penchant for letting their drinking escalate both their tall tales and the events that inspire them.
The satyrs are also naturally gifted in the ways of magic and arcane arts and are sometimes referred to as 'wizards' among the worlds they visit.
