Errvam Trees

Mlúkrok: Errvam /ɛr:va:m/

Errvam trees are tall, evergreen plants native to the northeastern Vorran Peninsula in western Dragonía, and have been introduced throughout the western peninsula by the local reptilian Kroks. They are easily identified by their cloven leaves with pink tips.
Errvam trees produce clusters of small, white fruits during winter, which the Kroks often liken to pearls, but are primarily grown for the fragrant oil extracted from the leaves, used to make incense, perfumes and salves, some of which are sold to the humanoid Jaarels living under the Vúrakesen Mountains to the east in exchange for precious stones, metals and goods from beyond the mountains.
The fruits, being rather bland, are sometimes used to garnish certain dishes but otherwise regarded as famine food, and usually left for certain gecko-like lizards that climb up the trees to feed on the fruits when in season. Any fruits that fall to the ground later on are then eaten by less agile reptiles or Enísas.
