Unlike most other salmon in Dragonía, they spend all their lives in the rivers they spawned in rather than migrating to the sea.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Fjólat salmon are a common catch for Mörkel fishermen on the eastern Plain of Kings, usually roasted or smoked for later consumption.
Among the Neskíðans of northern Póletrót, counting the markings on the fish is a traditional form of divination done by the priestesses of Peiþena, goddess of the river Draapei. A similar custom once existed among the related Dassíans of Inner-Dagtí to the west, before their land was conquered by the South-Dagtíans.
