Kúrnaarþ
Kúrnaarþ is an Ameder city-state in central Kanix Forest in northern Dragonía, bordered by Azantún to the west, Atnyz to the northeast and Klaarþ to the southeast.
It's one of the smallest city-state of the Ameders, and its craftsmen are known for their knives and daggers, with hilts made of carved deer horns and often adorned with amber.
Kúrnaarþ is also the center of worship of Yt-Vaarþ Ehariz, the Great Monster Slayer, an legendary hero who saved the inhabitants from a monster early in the country's history. The name has since become more closely associated with Erkar, a sea god adopted from Mörkel mythology, and the hero is now only venerated by elders by leaving offerings on an altar erected on the beach.

History
Kúrnaarþ was founded by Anúrten, son of a chief of Azantún, in 439 a.Dr after he and his sister Vúðrena were granted by their father as much coastline as they could cover by running. Anúrten did poorly, while Vúðrena laid claim to what is now the largest city-state in Kanix Forest.
According to local folklore, Anúrten's troubles didn't stop there, as during his first years as a chief a monster terrorized the settlement at night, until an unknown hero slayed the beast with a harpoon and left before anyone could thank them. The harpoon is still on display in the chief's home, and an altar stands on the beach where people can leave offerings as thanksgiving.

Warriors of Kúrnaarþ wear cloaks and tunics adorned with wavy red and white stripes.
