Cage-Riddle's Answer

This mysterious artifact was first mentioned to the party by Issach, the ancient Azlanti spirit/ghost/person inhabiting Nevanthis Aldori's Black Blade.
The first fragment was found deep in an abandoned mine in Darkmoon Vale, as the heart of a magical construct shaped roughly like a rock and ruby spider. It is theorized that the artifact fragment interacted with a summoned poltergeist known as the "Nemesis" to create the construct.
Not much is known about the artifact, other than allusions to it making Issach stronger, for the purpose of carrying the artifact itself. We think.
