The Wizard, the Demon Lord and the Pact

General Summary

Blasting, Shooting and Slashing their way into the Estate, the party defeats and slays the Apprentice Hedge Mages that inhabit Oscar's hide out, leaving but one terrified escapee whilst Oscar watched the ordeal from a scrying orb within his lair. Finding their way into the secret passage within the Library of the estate, the party discovered Oscar's Laboratory which housed the most heinous experiments and creatures. As the party made their way into his study, Oscar and an all too familiar voice could be heard exchanging details of an unknown transaction. A short moment later, Oscar would speak, calling out to Roth whom he revealed to be his son. With no common ground found,the doors were locked magically once the party attempted to pursue Oscar. Just then,a room full of Eldritch Zombies were unleashed upon them from down the hall, lead by a hulking variant of Roth that had mastered magical abilities as well as immunity to delerium. Must less pleasing, the party found that there were eldritch parasites that infested the zombies that would burst forth to find a new host as their previous ones were cut down. While most came out unscathed, Pike suffered infection of a parasite during the fight. Quickly surveying the laboratory, it came to be that Lukas would discover Oscar's notes that would teach him to Extract the Parasite without harming the host. Afterward, Roth would discover a long narrow passage that lead to what was most likely Oscar's escape route. At the end, an altar to Tenebros, also known as Orcus in the common tongue was discovered. The altar still resonated with magical energies and as it was examined the voice of the Demon Lord called out to the Party. Offering them that which they most desired in exchange for something of equal value, Roth stepped forward and claimed he wish his father dead. Orcus granted Roth an amulet that would scry on his father's location and after it's last usage of three, Orcus would claim his soul.
