Things Forgotten

General Summary

Escaping the bowels of Oscar Yoren's laboratory, it was quickly noted that the party was not alone. Emerging from the room, they find that the entire building is rigged with traps and a covenant of Queen's Men stand at the ready surrounding the facility, lead by a boyish rogue who was known to one particular member of the party. The boy made demands, requiring the party give him the notes they'd aquired on the Aqua Delerium and Aqua Expergo in Oscar's laboratory. The boy made veiled threats if they did not comply that he would have his agents poison the lanterns with what they would think were the healing potions they'd have gotten from the party. The young man seemed cold and calculating as Pike attempted to rush out of the room, only to find that he'd been put to sleep with a mere glance from the boy. The undoing of the child like scoundrel was the appearence of Maeve. As she continued to refuse to reveal herself, the boy became disfunctional and emotionally comprimised. His schizophrenic like episode would cause Lukas to move into play, who revealed himself to be the adoptive father of the boy as well as being an agent of the Queen's Men. Lukas would go on to insists he served out of nessessity to support the boy. After emotions cooled the boy's name was given, Jasper. With his name made public, Jasper would continue to pressure Maeve to remember him. After a blurry flashback from the once princess; she recalls Jasper as her lost childhood friend. Jasper then informs Maeve that he is person who actually discovered her in the rubble, not Collum who'd just so happened to be nearby and answer Jasper's calls for help. 
Lukas escorted Jasper to the Hooded Lantern Garrison to thwart Jasper's potential assassination on the Lanterns and deliver the real healing potion delivery that Oscar Yoren had promised. Meanwhile, the remainder of the party would follow Maeve as she pursued any further memories of her mother, Queen Lenore. The session ends as the party arrives at the Queen's Garden.
