Iri

A reptialian species.  They are covered in scales that provide a measure of protection from cuts.  The males of the species are bipedal and the females instead have a serpintine lower body.  The upper bodies of males and females are nearly identical; they have a torso, two arms and a head.  Their hands have one opposable thumb and three fingers each.
