Vampire

Vampires are not their own species as such, rather a person becomes one later in life.  The most common pathway to becoming a vampire is through a ritual that invokes the powers of Erezys.  If one offers suffecient sacrifices and it suits his mood, then Erezys may decide to reward that follower by turning them into a vampire.
