Octavio/ Livius Von Ulrich

Octavio is the persona of the monster hunter Livius Von Ulrich. He travels the realm in secret, posing as a bard and ringleader for a small circus manned by Kobolds. When he was younger he stumbled onto an Eldritch tome and saw things unfit for a mortal mind. He burned the book afterwards but the scars of what he saw linger and remain. He spends his off time memorizing poetry and limericks as well as pouring over research into whatever diabolical monstrocities he ends up hunting. His usual reasoning for travelling to a new town are typically two-fold, the first is to investigate and deal with the problem if necessary and to find potential new talent for the Bronze Hawks.

Motivation

Livius was born under a different name and a different house. After an infernal possession as a young man, Livius set out to become a master hunter. He set aside his comfortable life of nobility and gave himself the name of Livius Von Ulrich. He was quickly recruited by the Bronze Hawks who taught him how to route out the most vile of monsters, the ones that could hide and corrupt innocents inside of the towns and cities of civilization. He is an older man now, and recognizes that his life's work will pass in secret, a fact that is bittersweet to him.
