Siege Preparations and the Abandoned Dwarven Outpost

General Summary

The party continued to prepare for the horde of the 5 Rings, now with about 57 days left. After surveying the land, Krem met with them and informed them that he had the ability to shape earth into defensive structures. They met with the Dwarven Brothers who offered a substantial reward to clear an abandoned Dwarven outpost that had recently been discovered by the local miners. The Dwarven merchant, Darrak, postulated that if this outpost was cleared an underground trade route could be established between Arneth and the Dwarven city of Hammerhold. They also meta very wealthy representative from the Midas Corporation, Allistar, who showed an interest in the Elven Paladin, Tyrellion. Tyrellion accepted the invitation for a private dinner on the galleon that Allistar and then played a game of dragon chess with Allistar in which Tyrellion won. The group went to the abandoned Dwarven outpost which was shrouded in an unnatural darkness. After they got inside they found the outpost infested with zombies and other undead. After a brutal battle with an ogre zombie and many undead, they found a set of stairs leading further into the Dwarven outpost.
