The Elder One's Dream

A twisting dark nightmare world that spans parallel with the material world. It is possible for those who are either fearless or stupid to traverse this dark and horrifying realm, and they can gain the boon of traversing several days worth of travel in a few hours.

Manifestation

The Otherwold can be traveled to the same as any other planescapes. The realm has no day or night, just a dim ever-present time somewhat akin to a night with a full moon to provide illumination. Trees of the material world appear as twisting tentacles, the ground is replaced with thick mud and the clear skies reveal a large yellow globe in place of the moon with a single black slit in the center. The realm is filled with creatures that are terrible echoes of reality as well as portions of the realm that defy known laws of physics or acane. These areas are known as splinters of madness; areas where water flows up and whispers are heard with no mouths to speak them.
