Ogremoch and Imix
Prince of Elemental Earth
Thought to be the oldest of the primordials, Ogremoch is rumored to be as old as time itself. Ogremoch is a mass of living earth, gems and stone called The Mountain that Walks. He has witnessed the world mold and shape itself many times over. Some see Ogremoch as an artist as he is said to have created metal, stone and gems. His creations were to remain untouched so that they would remain in their most pure and organic form.
Imix, Prince of Elemental Fire, who was seen by some as the first craftsman, grew fond of the metals his brother had created. Metal was one of few materials Imix could touch that wouldn't immediately evaporate. Eventually Imix would discover he could shape these metals and after cooling, they would solidify, taking on a new form. Imix's touch would breathe life into these creations, resulting in the birth of the first metallic dragons.
Ogremoch would discover his younger brother's actions and grow furious at the impure sight his metals had become. Imix would proceed to beg his older brother not to destroy the very first things he, a being of destruction, had created. Ogremoch agreed, but as punishment, Ogremoch imprisoned these dragons and kept them as pets, knowing full well this would upset Imix as he greatly valued freedom. The Prince of Flame was assured his creations would be allowed to live as long as he never attempted to free them. The Everlasting Mountain despised creatures of the sky and promised his brother that these dragons would never take flight.
Over the years, Ogremoch had confined and tortured these dragons and would tear off their wings and metallic scales. After a number of generations, some dragons would stop growing metallic scales, resulting in the elemental dragons and one type would even lose their ability to fly. These flightless dragons known as cave dragons would be favored by Ogremoch and be granted relative freedom.
Imix, who normally destroyed anything he touched, felt both satisfaction and guilt when it came to his creations. While he could do nothing without risking the very life of his first children, he had begun creating other creatures in secret, promising himself he would never allow any of his creations to be imprisoned again. Imix is thought to be the one who fanned the flames that created life as we know it.
Infinite Wealth
The Mountain that Walks owns all treasures that dwell beneath the planet's crust. Untold millennia had passed during the process of creating his magnificent treasures and if Ogremoch had his way, they would remain there indefinitely. But his treasures would prove irresistible to those who laid their eyes upon them. In his absence, mines would be constructed to harvest his creations. They would be melted down or chiselled into forms that suited the need of those thieves. Ogremoch could sense every gem and every mineral that had been extracted from it's home. He would send his followers to collapse these mines, burying those who still dwell inside. Threats of death would prove insufficient, for his treasures were so great in the eyes of man that they were indeed worth dying for. They know not what it means to truly create, so in their jealousy, they stick with what they know and take. The Inner Flame
Those who follow Imix follow the Path of the Inner Flame. Inside each of us, there is a spark, and if you fan that spark, it becomes a flame. This flame could be your passions or desires, whatever it might be, you must not let it die. No matter the consequences, you must let your inner flame burn bright. For if you do not explore your passions, you are never truly alive. So if you want something, do not ask permission, do not apologise for doing what brings you to life. Better to burn the candle at both ends than to never strike the match at all.Spiteful Children
In the present day, now that dragons have their freedom, dragons covet valuable objects just as gold and gems. Scholars suspect they do this to spite their abusive father, Ogremoch.
