A New Journey

After bringing my new man back to my Firbolg family, we began talking. Turns out Chadd is an exile from the Nutter clan... the very same one that my clan has been gathering info on for many moons. Recently they have been angering the Firbolgs as they have been expanding recently and cutting down lots of trees. At the request of my clan, and using Chadd’s insider information, we have been requested to spy on the clan, and learn their weaknesses for a possible future attack. I think my parents like him <3... Antics ensue.

A Smashing Encounter

I had been trailing the deer for hours losing and regaining the trail. Mud streaking my skin, I crawled close to the ground, a flattened leaf, a snapped branch I was very close. Carefully I picked my way through the undergrowth, flattening myself against a tree as I neared a clearing.   Peering around the trunk, my heart pounded as I finally saw the animal grazing peacefully in the centre of the meadow. Oblivious to the threat in the trees.   Taking a couple steadying breaths I gripped the dagger that rested at my hip.   I closed my eyes, and with a final exhale, I whipped around the tree, charging the animal. A flash of red however stopped me short of my target, as we collided with a CRACK   Strange dreams swirled in my muddled mind, as I groaned. There was red boy who looked like me.   Slowly I began to come back to my senses, and blinking I creaked open my eyes. The light through the canopy was all but faded, and I stared up in confusion. It was hours from sunset... how long had I been out?   My head was splitting, and rubbing it I whipped it around, as I started to remember what had happened.   Sitting not a foot away was the boy from my dream.. and he... had a coconut on his horn?   Any thoughts of the deer now gone from my mind. He was perfect. I had set out this morning to bring back some game, but instead brought back a whole ass man.
