106 Giftmas on Mechanus

General Summary

On the 18th of Hvile, the party went to Mechanus to find Abbie via a plane shift by Jean Claude. They showed up in a factory on the Thermal Level, where a bunch of goblins were making toys for the children of the Kinetic District. A shipment of toys had been stolen and the goblins Buddy, Hope, Nope, and Soap were all going to be jailed for their shipment being late, as order and timeliness are very important here and Father Giftmas has to keep his list. They assumed the party was there to help, and the party followed an air duct to a rat tunnel and fought their way into where the rat people lived. They spoke with Crumpet, and Reginald the Rat king, and they offered to send the rats to Dreamworld (Shalerock) in exchange for the shipment of toys so that they could return it to Buddy.

During the course of all this stuff, they found that Abby was probably first taken to the Office of Arrivals in the Kinetic district, and if she wasn't there, then she could have been taken to the Tower of Enlightenment if she didn't have the proper papers.  Reginald can help navigate to the Office of Arrivals, and may somewhat be able to assist in getting to the Tower of Enlightenment, but he hasn't been there before and it's in a more elite part of the world.
