34: A Stop for Gas and Snacks

The party hid their car on the edge of town, after some conversing on the drive about the ruby from the altar of Axios. They eventually went in toward an area with shops and started looking around for loot, specifically gas for the car. Solana went off back towards the car. Tim went and looked for Solana, but only found Klover at the car. The rest of the party found some potions , one unidentified potion, and a jar filled with something. They stopped an escape attempt by Wenrick, and met a half-orc named Garth who had a horrific disease. Adamon met up with his friend, and they went with Garth toward the Vineball. The party went and found some loot from the Muddy Puddle, then they stayed the night in an empty house, when they were found by Senrielle Roseheart. After some introductions, they rested up. Around noon, they woke up and were informed by Mabel and Tracy that they were surrounded on either side of the street by stalkers belonging to Janet which could walk on water. The party carefully constructed a plan to turn Menti into a GIANT bird and book it back to the car. They escaped the city, with the only cost being Wenrick's two stalkers. They then made it about halfway to Gastir before running into a different couple stalkers, which weren't much of an issue. Senrielle met a beetle.
With that, everyone continues on to Gastir, the city of ghosts. The road winds around ponds, though they seem to grow less frequent as you get closer to the city. As you're nearly there, a light snow begins to fall, and the edges of the ponds and ravines show a faint crackle of ice beginning to form. The first snow of fall is little more than a dusting, so no issue for the car, but the clouds overhead and the chilly breeze indicate that there might be more in the near future. You eventually can see the city on the horizon, a vertically layered city with many spires and odd irregular roofs jutting out every which way.
You'd reach this point at about 6pm, and it's still the 4th day of the month.
