40 Ascension Election

General Summary

The party camped out a little ways away from where they had fought Anika. They kept some watches, Menti protected the horses from wolves, and Senri found a treasure map in a bottle. The hole in the sky was gradually getting bigger. The party used one of the Winternight Bells to figure out that Ulenor was trying to take a "mega-amalgamation to ascend."

In the morning, they figured out where the map went to, and they decided to set out for Yago springs, where the body of Aki lay on the ground and the door to the Throneroom Dimension split the sky. The Vineball and the Skytemple both were there as well. The party ran into Jatai and Corion on patrol, and found out that the inhabitants of the Vineball were in discussions about who should ascend to Godhood.

They got some information on ascension from Davon and Adamon, and they discussed the merits between Gennieros, Wylandriah, and Corion. Senri used some detecting-of-thoughts to figure out her stance on the matter. Klover went and hung out in the hot springs and ate a grape. Menti recieved some dire predictions (relating to his home plane) from The Blue Knight. They eventually voted and the majority selected Wylandriah, swaying much of the rest of the makeshift council.
