5 Warehouse, Breadbox, Blacklight

General Summary

After resting on the Skytemple, the party air-dropped with feather fall onto the top of a nearby warehouse (around Haevar's Gap) to get some fuel, food, and other supplies that the Skytemple needed. They killed a couple stalkers and found a gelatinous cube in a box which they left alone. They then loaded up the small longboat with all it could carry, and brought it back to the ship. Captain Alestair gave them a grapple gun. They checked up on Prophet Davon who seemed to be recovered. They messaged Wylandriah to say they were ready to teleport back to Balgard, so she brought them back and they rested there a while, and Raven made some food. They left Balgard headed for Onioport, hoping to find a ship to take them over the Gulf of Wycor to the northwest end of the continent. On the way, they heard a scream off the side of the trail which they investigated. There they found Roaming Richard and Agatha Baggs arguing over who should have an exorbidantly priced box of bread that's usually free. The party decided that the box should go to Agatha for free and that Richard should stop being a greedy opportunist, and they sent him off with a warning. They stayed near Agatha's swamp for the day and then continued on to Onioport. When they arrived to the skirts of Onioport, they saw that there was a purple glowing light and some barricades around the edges of the city. Someone threw a rock at the glowing lights, and then a rock got thrown back. A voice yelled out that this city was under the protection of the Blacklight Defenders, then another voice yelled out that they weren't really set on the name yet. After a brief standoff, the party approached and found that a number of people had formed a militia to keep the stalkers out of Onioport. Joredir the Engineer said he was also pulled from another plane, and he'd discovered that black light doesn't attract Stalkers like regular light does. Sharal the half-orc said she grew up in this town. Then they met Malum the Scarred, also pulled from another plane. They asked for his advice about the bread situation from earlier, and he said that if they were worried about doing the right thing, then that probably made them qualified to make the decision in the first place. He said he had to go take watch and he would speak with them later. They headed to the beer tent with Joredir and Sharal, and Sharal apologized about Malum's demeanor.
