Mingling Memorial

In the middle of town, there is a small manicured park with some columns that have old names scratched into rectangular obsidian pillars. A sign at the entrance of the park reads “Mingling Memorial: In honor of those that fought and fell against The Great Demon from below.” In the middle of the park, there are some stairs down, much like a subway entrance. Someone going down the stairs would be facing north. Downstairs, there is a big obsidian dragon statue, posed as though it’s sitting back on its haunches, and extending one claw towards the entrance. There are also two rivers of liquid. To the right of the entrance is a lava river with a bridge over it, and to the left is water, which also has a bridge. These two rivers flow past the sides of the dragon, and they meet up in a mess of rock formations and odd geodes directly behind the dragon. Crossing the lava half, there’s a doorway which typically leads to the Brotherhood of Earth market, and the rest of the Brotherhood of Earth neighborhoods. If the water half is crossed, there is a second doorway that leads to the Darkweaver market and neighborhood. Currently, each doorway is being guarded by a Mech, near a temporary, construction-type sign that says “Caution: Underground is temporarily out of Mech protection.”
