Basic History
The history of Oshiv'Ran is primarily the history of the shifter clans.
Politics
Oshiv'Ran – as a city and as a region – is overseen by a council of clan elders. Although there are 10 clans, there are only 8 representatives on the city council.
Economy
Oshiv'Ran is primarily an agricultural region. They produce the majority of the continents food staples – wheat, barley, legumes, etc. – as well as other food items, spices, and fruits. The forests also provide for a burgeoning hunting, trapping, and fur-trading industry. Animal products are also large as many clans raise cattle, pigs, and other livestock. Woodworking, fishing, and textiles and weaving are also prominent.
People
While most races can be found in the region, it is primarily inhabited by shifters and humans.

Religion
Religious affairs in the region are overseen by the acolytes, priests, and High Priest of Oshozi. Beyond the two main festivals – the Great Hunt and the Great Harvest – the most important religious practices are to ensure that everything reaped from the land has a purpose and a use. Waste is considered a great offense.
The Wildmen (True Followers) of Oshozi have a slightly different approach to the worship of
Oshozi. They believe that the deepest form of devotion to the god of wild nature is to abandon civilization entirely.
