Parvathian
A traveler on the side of the road invites another to join them, serving tea and sharing both their woes and joys. Where does the journey lead next? A regal and finely dressed Acolyte addresses the concerns of a crowd; her voice rings out with authority and a calm melody. The gold-lined market of the City of Fortune closes as the month draws to a close. A day of rest mandated by the Spirit of Fortune. Parvathian – the recently elevated god of gold, fortune, presentation, opulence, and domesticity – is the patron god of wanderers, merchants, and home crafts. Like his predecessor Judas, Parvathian regularly moves amidst the growing population of his region and amidst the City he has made his own. Everyone is aware when Parvathian makes an entrance, for he is the god of presentation for a reason. It is fitting that one who must have been carefully and meticulously sculpted by the gods is now a god himself. Yet those who have come to serve the god of fortune are well aware that their regal and seemingly extravagent god far prefers to spend his time amidst more simpler things.

Tenets of Faith
Blessed Are They That Wander – Life is a series of journeys, some better than others. A journey need not be physical, though a journey that requires one to tread the roads of the world may help one find oneself or progress to the next stage in the broader scheme of life. Seek your own path. Others may seek to carve a path for you and while you may accept their aid, advice, and guidance, only you can and should dictate how the stones of your path are laid and where your path will wind. Do not fear wandering off the path you have built thus far; you may find the start of another path or encounter others along the road. Share your burdens as frequently as you share your joy.
The Greatest Fortune Isn't Gold – In and of itself, gold harbors little. It is a gold metal that merely reflects the warm glint of the sun. Gold is useful in the meaningful and valuable things it can obtain: wealth to buy materials to repair a home, the means to assemble a thoughtful gift, and the time to spend with people and nature or to expand the mind and improve the body. True wealth lies within and between. Gold, at best, is merely the messenger. One that should be given its due and a service that should be made available to all... but not the greatest fortune to behold.

Well-Spoken and Well-Honed – The way one presents and carries oneself often speaks more than the words that leave their lips. Equally so, one's initial bearing may be rendered null by the poorly spoken word. Thus, it is imperative that one's image be honed and mastered. Equally so, the art of wordplay and negotiation should be well-practiced. Imperfection is to be expected and honesty demanded. This is not a mask to be crafted, but a version of the self to be cultivated.
