The Kartus Brothers

As the name may indicate, the Kartus Brothers own and operate the Kartus Brothers' Trading Company, which provides quality assurance for and distribution of locally grown herbs. Although specializing in herbs, they're a general goods store first and foremost and have a variety of local and important merchandise for sale. According to Kalé, he is the eldest of 8 brothers.

Kalé Kartus

The eldest of the Kartus brother's and formal owner of the main storefront for the Kartus Brothers' Trading Company. He seems to wear a vial of blood around his neck alongside a pendant of Carmenthia. He appears to be quite knowledgable about the items he sells within his store and personally oversees the quality assurance of many of the local herbs grown around the city. As a local, he has a good understanding of the history of Carmenthia, though he professed no connection to the Goddess herself. Although willing to share some of his knowledge, he doesn't appear to always be forthcoming...

Kaleb

Found at the storefront for the Trading Company. Kaleb very much resembles his older brother, though he seems to prefer wearing darker clothing. He has a bitter and abrasive disposition, despite being in charge of manning the "front desk" at the storefront. It seems he has a particularly bad leg that makes it difficult for him to move about. He seems to be on good terms with Mary Alvarro.
