The White Dragon Clan Estate
Unlike the other estates, the White Dragon Compound sits near the top of one of the smaller mountains in the crescent of the Nyugar Mountains. The biting winds and cold feel like home to the white dragonborn that live here. Scratch marks, black charring, and shards of ice mar the walls, remnants of battles and conflicts from tie past. Walls, partially embedded in ice extend 2/3 of the way around the compound with a massive gate - adorned with a sculpted white dragon bust – situated at one end. The other 1/3 is shielded by a steep drop off to an icy river below.
The Estate
(Can you tell where I gave up?) Although the paths here are kept clear of most ice, patches of glistening snow cover much of the ground. Two tall spires stretch upward, overlooking the steep cliffside and the icy stream that cuts through the mountains below. Between the two towers is a long stretch of constructed obstacles upon which multiple dragonborn of various size seem to climb, duck, dodge, and weave. Despite being knocked down and beaten, the primal drive of the white draconic bloodline drives them forward without regard for the blood dripping from various wounds. Clusters of small homes – pagoda style roofs with white shingling almost indistinguishable from the snow – surround a fighting arena in the center of the Estate. Dragonborn of various ages move in and out of homes, pausing to watch and listen to the warriors testing their mettle in the ring. Slaves move about with eyes downcast. At one end of the fighting ring is a massive, sprawling building – a palace of stone and ice decorated with draconic motifs of white dragons. Within the palace, the biting cold is only... slight blocked. Although fires are lit, they are sparse and small. Everything is chill to the touch. The decor is somewhat sparse and minimalist, with the most notable decorations being the mounted heads and carcasses of past hunts. Carved pillars display the ferocious figures of white dragons in pursuit of trophies and prey. Beyond that, there is very little embellishment in the halls. The White Maw
Behind two heavy white doors lies a circular room. Dragonborn in embellished heavy armor watch any who dare approach the entrance to the Maw that lies within. Ice-covered stairs lead town into a dark cavern that has been expertly cared in the shape of a draconic maw. Traversing the Maw is not a task to be undertaken lightly. The temperatures here are even colder than on the surface. One must pass through biting winds and swirling snow and ice to reach the heart of the Maw. After crossing a narrow bridge made of ice, various tunnels and hallways have been carved and extend out in various direction. At the center of this web is a massive cavern illuminated by blue flames. Massive pillars of ice are arranged in a circular pattern around a lake of ice. Within these pillars are various humanoid figures. Some cry in anger, others in fear, and others in sorrow... all frozen with tears on their faces. This is the domain of The Queen of Frozen Tears.
