Notes
[1] Intolerance - On a deeply instinctual level, the living and Undying have a vitriolic hatred of each other. If either a living or Undying creature sees each other, they must make a Will-3 roll; on a failure, they must attempt to either kill (for any predatory animal) or run away from (from any small or prey animals) the offending creature; sapient creatures may choose which is most appropriate for their character. The Game Master may apply bonuses or penalties based on range, familiarity, situation, and amount seen. You may be familiar enough with a few individuals to bypass the roll. However, this cannot be bought off; suppressing this instinct always takes conscious mental effort.[2] Maintenance - The Undying require monthly attention from a professional embalmer to avoid their bodies slowly rotting away.
[3] Unhealing/Unkillable - The Undying do not naturally heal. The only way to repair damage to their bodies is through Flesh Control magic. Unfortunately, the Undying are also highly resistant to all magic. The only way to truly kill an Undying is to destroy their head. This does not stop you from being dismembered, feeling pain, or otherwise having your physical form degraded; it just won't kill you.
[4] Amnesia - The Undying have only vague memories of their living days. Learned skills, professions, and over-arching goals remain, but details such as times, places, and individual slip through their fingers.
