Family Bond. If one of Afrana's sisters takes damage within 30 feet of her she can choose to instead take half of that damage for her sister. This requires no action or reaction.
Evasion. If Afrana is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Afrana instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
Sneak Attack. Once per turn, the Afrana deals an extra 10 (3d6) damage when it hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of the assassin that isn't incapacitated and the assassin doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.

Actions

Multiattack. Afrana makes two, one with her shortsword and one with her hook.
Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, taking 20 (6d6) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Hook. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 14 dexterity saving throw or become grappled.

Reactions

Last Gift. If one of Afrana's sisters is about to die within 40 feet of her she can use her reaction to instantly give her all of her hitpoints. As a result however, Afrana instantly dies in place of her sister.

Mini Backstory

• 1 Year Old: When she and her two sisters were born their mother passed away from childbirth. From that day forward they were neglected and ignored by their father, they were trophies to boost his reputation but not people to love and cherish. For they took the only thing that he ever loved from him, his wife.
• 20 Years Old: Her father, Aldron makes a deal with Krawsēv the Under Son so he can have a son, it works but in return he takes Afrana and her two sisters into his service, turning them into monsters in the process.
• 26 Year Old: Aldron defeats Krawsēv and turns him into his pet, overjoyed Afrana and her sisters expect their father to free them. Instead they simply go from one overlord to another. They now simply act as Aldron’s personal assassins.

Plot Hooks

• At some point after the party leaves Xaokai Island they will be attacked by the Briggs triplets. It will be sudden and it will be vicious, their goal will be to pick off a few of the party members and then flee when things get too dicey. If the party fails to shake the sisters then they will keep trying until they are killed or are recalled by Aldron.
• If Aldron is killed then the triplets will fall back under the service of Krawsēv the Under Sun. This can be reversed if they discover the ritual that Aldron used to break free from Krawsēv in his estate and manage to perform the ritual.
