Cryo launchers cool superconducting materials to an ultra-low temperature, which initiates the Meissner Effect: the chamber's magnetic field spontaneously ceases to exist. A ferromagnetic payload, whether ammunition or spacecraft, is ejected at hypervelocity. It also generates an electrical charge, which can be used to power a device or craft, or weaponized to disrupt armor and electronics.
