The Rangers of the Deep

The Rangers of the Deep are a volunteer law enforcement order, operating independently of any government. They were originally founded to protect the occupants and travelers of Al-Rem, The Deep. However, they have been known to intervene in conflicts outside their normal range should the situation be dire enough. The Rangers operate out of the Deep Terminus Garrison, an ancient fortress far inside the Deep. Individual Rangers patrol their sector of the galaxy, looking for those in need of assistance. Rangers are usually recruited by other Rangers, pulled from militaries, adventurers, and explorers far and wide - particularly those disillusioned with their role in their current organizations.
