Lasciuffare (Lay-shoo-fah-rae)
The Lasciuffare are a small tropical group of monkey-like beings. These creatures have small, soft, near-reflective fuzz on their bodies, allowing them to blend into the surroundings. On their face, they have less reflective hair that is stiff, holding the crown-like position it has; this hair is usually decorated with black markings that signify the family or group that individual Lasciuffare belongs to. They have four limbs as well as a very long, dextrous tail that can be used as almost a third hand. Each of their four limbs is incredibly long in proportion to their small body. Designed for swinging around in trees, they spend most of their time doing that.
Lasciuffare are known for slipping in and out of traveling groups nearly undetected. These pesky creatures have a nasty habit of pick-pocketing everyone they can find, be it adventuring parties or even nearby groups of other Lasciuffare. They like gathering food and shiny objects from these outings and would bring back their collections to share with the rest of the group.
The Lasciuffare use a quiet clicking language to communicate. They don't talk very loud as they are usually close together in their family groups. They also use simple hand signs if they're unable to make their vocal click, usually something along the lines of follow or stay.
Though they're not hard to beat in combat once the fighting starts, it's a bit tricky to see them begin with! Their borderline reflective fuzz makes it so many cannot see them as they blend into their surroundings.
