Hadthan Tree Snake

The Hadthan Tree Snake is a tree-dwelling serpent capable of growing up to 5 Myrebellows (10 metres) long. It has a long, skinny, body, and tends to have a green belly and a brown back, to blend into branches from above or leaves from below. It has large, bulbous eyes capable of seeing in most directions, as it spends most of its time lying in wait for something to approach nearby. It is capable of staying completely still for days on end. The skin of the snake is bumpy and textured, and there are micro-hairs on most of the snake, excluding its face. It is venemous, but the venom it administers from its four fangs are only enough to kill small animals. This venom can be made into a poison, but only a large dose of hadthan tree snake venom is enough to kill a grown human. Dwarves enjoy drinking spirits made from this venom, and it is considered a delicacy to many dwarven communities.
