Barq'Alla

The exact knowledge about Barq'alla remains very limited. Because whoever entered the city, never left. The knowledge they had were gained by standing in the lands called Divide(The space between the surrounding canyon and the city) Yet neither of the accumilated knowledge proved definitive. The exact process inside was remained unknown.
A Naishan author named Kariqa Quess described the Barq'alla in a book(which was banned to general public) called Beyond the Divide, In the Womb of Sorrow;
''Darkness is the salvation... Death is a gift we will never receive, blood will never dry, torn could never be whole. A wound will always hurt and bleeding will never stop, flooding the city, drowning us in an endless sleep which will never come. The hurt morphs into terrors. Even the nightmares are afraid of Barq'alla... The gift may the endless life be, not in its reddened walls. Residence searched salvation in Illusions, but even the illusions was pure horror. They sing 'Our salvation is Evild and whispers will never leave our skulls, echoing from one to another. No matter where you step, city will decide where it lands. Reflections will pull you deeper to its evil and only deeper we shall all sank. The cries of mother from the deep was echoed by the monster standing on top.''

Geography

Located at the North Eastern Stella, towards the east of Naisha in the middle of an ice sheet, surrounded with an artificially made canyon. The land between the canyon and the city is called Divide.

Ecosystem

It is surrounded with an icesheets and an endless blizzard, the city mostly appear as vague red lights extending to sky.
Animals and humans refrain to enter the Divide.

Localized Phenomena

Sometimes the blizzard around it takes a purplish color, which is believed that Stellarch showing its respect to the loss of the child.

History

After the Throne fell and Royal Proteans were almost extincted, the chief who was pregnant run to the north, in a cave under a black star with the help of the witch and the first follower. They knew that her baby was the future of their specie. Yet once he was still-born, all of this hope, turn into a deep sorrow and chief cried for 9 years in the cave under a black star. The residue from this feeling created the effect itself and later they amplified the effect to create Barq'alla which her cries echoed through its walls and beyond.
Barq'alla became a pocket universe which they sweared to throw who is responsible for the fall of the Throne, so they could experience the sorrow they felt.
It was constructed using forgotten and dangerous alchemical techniques. Almost all Alchemists in the world agrees that the making of Barq'alla damaged the nature of Alchemy like nothing else.

Tourism

Mostly people who desires to test their will and character visits beyond the divide and stay there for some time; Masters, Dancers, Shamans...
