Champion of the Empire

Appointment

The High King of the Bregritopia Empire will award this title to a true hero of the empire. One who has fought, bleed, and achieved greatness for the empire. Any person chosen for this honor will be sought out by the Kings Guard and brought to the capital. At this point a three day celebration will commence in the great city of Drakkar. The highlight of the celebration is the High King awarding the title and accoutrements.

Benefits

On granting of this title, the standard Accoutrements are given as well as generally several other gifts by the High King. With this title also comes political clout, whether they are versed in it or not. The Signate Clasp will get him into any location he wants to visit in the Bregritopia Empire. Once most people find out their title, they will often give them lodging, equipment, and other assorted items as gifts.

A Cloak of the Champion and Signate Clasp are the uniform gift to signify the title.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If the High King ever feels that a champion has disgraced this position of honor. They will be stripped of the title.

History

During the War Of Nightmares The young Major Dramoathurul Kaina became a renowned tactician that won the war for the Bregritopia Empire. After which High King Aonghus Bregritopia created and awarded this title to Dramoathurul.

Cultural Significance

This is the highest honor most citizens on the Bregritopia Empire can hope to achieve. Even in foreign lands, they know of this title and give them proper respect.
