Siege Of Dishonesty

The humans under the yoke of the Bregritopia Empire thanks to Cadell Bregritopia's conquest of Breorith felt there new masters were unfit to rule them. Hayden McGuire quietly raised a army of 10,000 men. In the middle of the night on the fifteenth of Autome, they attacked the developing Scarlet Point. With Cadell out to the west in the Fertile Plains region, the number of soldiers behind was few. With only 500 troops, they held back the rebellious troops for three days before breaking their way into the fort. A carrier drake was sent to Cadell at the beginning of the siege. Though it took a few days to breach the walls, Hayden was smart and only lost a few men in the conflict. Every able body citizen and remaining guard grab whatever weapons they could find to try and protect their families. The dragonborn charged bravely into the throws of combat. Unfortunately for them, the invaders were better armed and trained. By the end of the day, the fort was on fire, and the streets were flowing with blood. The smell of death was thick in the air as the first of the twin suns came over the horizon. The invaders see Cadells' army marching toward the city. The ground shook as the massive army approached. The humans did what they could to try and patch the walls before they arrived.
As the army approaches, Cadell sees the condition of fort. In a fit of rage, he takes flight and charges the city. Seeing their leader charge, the rest of the army runs behind Cadell. Cadell nimbly dodges a few bolts and arrows fired at him. When he is within range, he roars with rage releasing the flames that were building inside. In one breath, over a hundred men are set aflame. Cadell lands in the middle of the carnage, swinging his greatsword like he was cutting down reeds. The main force burst through whatever repairs they might have made, killing all those in site. It was almost like as soon as the battle started, it was over. Cadell captures Hayden alive and interrogates him. Once he has the answer he was looking for, he disposes of the human and marches on Dirthorn.

The entire Kingdom of Breorith was treated harshly till the death of Cadell Bregritopia. As well the original capitol Dirthorn was leveled under the heel of Cadell.

Aftermath

Ever since then there has always been a McBregritopia as the ruler of Breorith

Legacy

Since that time humans have had to put in triple the effort to get dragonborn to trust them. There are still many dragonborn today that distrust humans because of this act.
