Volo Death Rite
When a Volognome dies they are supposed to be embalmed to allow short term preservation of the body. At this time their Volognome Pen of Citizenship is placed into the body cavity. If the gnomes dies outside of Lockgear the body is supposed to be transported back home. To facilitate this they will set up contracts with various people to take care of their body in case of untimley death. The bodies are stored in the Cathedral of Death. During this time the deathmask is made for the deceased. On The Night of Tears the families of the deceased will collect the masks from the dead before the final ceremony.
