Acgozuluk (Ash-go-zoo-look)

(a.k.a. Açgözlülük)

Acgozuluk is the goddess of greed and selfishness. For many, she symbolised the stereotypical wicked traits of dwarves and dragons, particularly being the patron of chromatic dragons.

Description

Acgozuluk is traditionally depicted as an aging woman carefully counting and collecting coins, gems, and other valuables. Some more violent depictions show Acgozuluk stealing or scamming others in order to take their money.   Dragons often show Agozuluk as a multicoloured dragon of red, green, and blue with a gargantuan horde. Some depicitons even showed the goddess buried in her treasure.

Religion

Acgozuluk is most frequently worshipped by thieves, pirates, prospectors, and shady bankers or money lenders. She is sometimes prayed to before large deal negotiations or prospector digs for gemstones in order to maximise profits, but most often she is prayed to before heists, raids, or scams.   The most holy day to worshippers of Acgozuluk is the solar eclipse. Followers would take this day to celebrate their finances and more sinister followers would sometimes offer blood sacrifices for increased spoils going forward.
