Aarakocra

Aarakocra, also known as Aven or Birdfolk, can be found in the mountaintops across Dunyalem. Their physical characteristics often match the region's bird species, from muted birds of prey to colourful parrots. Due to their natural ability to fly, the Aarakocra were among the first species to migrate beyond their home regions. They can now be found in all corners of the world.
Aarakocra are often wanderers, preferring to live a nomadic life rather than putting down roots, and rarely become involved in the affairs of nations. Some Aarakocra settlements exist deep in the mountains of Djakalia and Astarta, but even these tend to keep to themselves and not become entangled with the politics of their home nations.
