Elf

Elves are originally from Astarta and Keranov, though they are now among the most frequent travelers and can be found commonly throughout Dunyalem.
Astartan elves can be roughly categorised as wood elves and so-called 'high' elves. Wood elves refer to those who remain in their forest homes, harboring a close connection to nature. Those who left their ancestral homes for the outside world often consider themselves more cultured than their woodland cousins, and some now refer to themselves as 'high' elves.
Keranov elves, or drow, are more distinct than their Astartan counterparts. Their skin tones span a range of grey tones, said to be caused by Keranov's curse. These drow are among the most common species found in Keranov.
