Felorno

Felorno is one of the four nations in the Jade Republic, situated to the East of the Jade Sea and in the West of the continent of Astarta, seperated from the Kindred Empire by the Avounnine Mountains. Since the aasimar defeated the minotaur ravagers and unified the nation, Felorno has been without major conflict. This has allowed the nation to develop culture that is known throughout Dunyalem. Art, poetry, and theatre are common throughout Felorno, with most mid-sized towns having amphitheatres for both local and travelling troupes. Felorno is also well known for its navy, the most powerful in Dunyalem. Established by the coastal dwelling tritons, Felorno's navy is mostly used to defend the large number of trade ships travelling the Jade Sea and beyond. The fleet is also Felorno's main contribution to the shared resources of the Jade Republic. Felorno is ruled by the aasimar Consul, who is responsible for governing Felorno as a whole and representing the nation within the Jade Republic. More local governance is delegated to aasimar council members, responsible for specific districts. This council is also responsible for voting in new Consuls to indefinite term, ruling as long as they are physically and mentally able to, often hundreds of years.
