Genasi

Genasi are native to Djakalia, in the northern region of the continent around the city of Al-Dhorma.
Genasi are descended from genies and match the elements of their ancestors: air, earth, fire or water. Genasi are more down to earth than their elemental predecessors, and many go out of their way to emphasise the difference with acts of philanthropy and charity.
Genasi have among the longest history of civilisation, matched only by the people of Zafka. Many of Al-Dhorma's most famed academics and inventors are genasi.
