Goblin

Goblin is a term given to a number of species across Dunyalem, including the Nokawan hobgoblins and the Djakali bugbears. What many think of when envisioning goblins are those from Astarta.
Goblins used to be seen as pests within civilisation in Astarta, raiding transports and occasionally gathering enough forces to mount attacks on smaller settlements. As settlements became towns and eventually cities, this became more and more difficult, until eventually most goblins conceded and assimilated with the rest of the region.
Due to their history, goblins are viewed by many of the rich and powerful as a nuisance and eyesore. Goblins are often found among the underground elements of Astarta, where their small stature and ability to avoid notice are highly valued.
