Goliath

Goliaths are a species without a home. Originating from the mountains of Pekkora, the Spellbomb that ended the War burned their homeland to a molten wasteland.
Since then, the majority of goliaths live as refugees. While the Kindred Empire offered recompense for their part in the Calamity, few goliaths took up their offer. Instead, many crossed to the East to live within Djakalia. A large number joined the Yakarti Caravan, preferring the nomadic life rather than take root so far from their home.
Since the Calamity, many goliaths distrust mages who seek to create spells rather than use their naturally occurring magical ability.
