Kobold

Kobolds are the smallest of the common species of Bhannachat. Second only to loxodon in lack of magical prowess, kobolds have always been on the lowest rungs of society in Bhannachat. In the times before the Republic, kobolds were forced to do the most menial of tasks, with special tunnels being constructed in palaces and homes of the wealthy to allow their kobold servants easy passage.
When the yuan-ti were forced bring their values more in line with the rest of the Republic, indentured kobolds were given the choice to leave their masters, which the majority chose to do. Shanty towns and slums were constructed in many of the towns in Bhannachat to accomodate this new influx of residents, and many kobolds continue to live there today. Kobolds are often forced to resort to disreputable work as no one else is willing to hire them.
