Triton

Tritons are amphibious humanoids from the coast and seas of Felorno, their settlements incorporating both underwater and land areas. Their aptitude for the seas led them to be the first group to establish seacraft, and their ability to retreat into underwater settlements allowed them to avoid the majority of the damage caused by minotaur raiders from the mainland.
When the aasimar swept through Felorno driving away the minotaur marauders, triton settlements held the coasts, ensuring the minotaurs couldn't flee by sea. The tritons were quick to ally with the aasimar as they claimed dominance in Felorno, using their seafaring prowess to create Dunyalem's first organised naval force, as well as establishing trade routes with other lands.
Today, many tritons choose a seafaring life, piloting trade ships or the warboats used to protect them from pirates in the Jade Sea.
