Acorn Guard

The personal guard of House Oakenhart, established when the house came to power. The Acorn Guard serves at the pleasure of the Oakenhart family and tasked with their defence. It is not uncommon for a member or two of the guard to accompany family members on journeys and diplomatic missions. Membership of the order is indefinite; a knight may be dismissed by the head of the family, or die in service.
There are fourteen members of equal rank, overseen by two Lieutenants who report to the Captain, who often acts as a representative or spokesperson.
