Duros IV

The situation on Duros IV is one of great conflict and danger. The Vengeful Despoilers , a Chaos Warband led by Vaxxos the Deceiver , have launched a full-scale invasion of the planet, seeking to conquer it and claim its resources for themselves. The Vengeful Despoilers are also seeking to recover the The Ordinatus Eternum , a valuable and advanced piece of technology that was lost during the Horus Heresy.   The Imperial forces on Duros IV are fighting for their lives, trying to hold back The Vengeful Despoilers and defend the planet from their invasion. They are aided by the Catachan Green Devils, a battered but tenacious armored regiment, the newly arrived The 689th Cadian Steelwall  , a proud and experienced line infantry regiment, and The Mordian Iron Guard, a once proud but now shattered line infantry regiment, is also present on the planet, but they have taken heavy casualties and are more cautious in their actions.   The situation on Duros IV is fluid and unpredictable, and the outcome of the conflict is uncertain. It remains to be seen whether the Imperial forces will be able to hold back The Vengeful Despoilers and defend the planet, or whether Vaxxos the Deceiver will be able to conquer Duros IV and claim the The Ordinatus Eternum for themselves. The stakes are high, and the fighting is likely to be fierce and brutal.
