Aldani

The Aldani are a race of humanoid lobsters native to Chult's waterways. They are moderately amphibious, only venturing above water for short periods of time. They are highly secretive, preferring seclusion to conflict, leading many Chultans to believe they were mythical.
Traditional Chultan folktales cast the Aldani as a tribe of fishermen who angered Ubtao with their greed. Ubtao cursed the Aldani with their grotesque appearance in retribution for overfishing.
Their leader is Mainu, the Queen of the Rivers.
