Beatrix Windrivver

A proud & devoted paladin of Lathander, Beatrix strives for perfection in every facet of her life. To others, she appears to be the figure of decorum, but she cannot help but to have the last word in an argument. Her self-possession is brittle and crumbles if she senses an impending failure. She lives within the prison of her upbringing, unable (or unwilling) to see that she can walk away from any conflict. Instead she is prone to exacerbating simple misunderstandings into terminal grudges. This has led her into a bitter rivalry with Genevra and an acrimonious relationship with her cousin, Bourdekin. She has journeyed to Chult with the aim of bringing her cousin back into the fold. Returning her to a role in life Beatrix feels must be fulfilled, as she believes nobody can just walk away from their place in the world.
