Ekene-Afa is a merchant-prince in Port Nyanzaru. She has a monopoly in weapons, shields, and adventuring gear. Ekene-Afa was legendary among the common rabble of the port who grew up watching her battles. Ekene-Afa started off her career as a gladiator in Port Nyanzaru. After winning numerous gladiatorial contests, she invested her winnings into financing her first trade deals. She always bets on herself, and with her skill in battle, it paid off handsomely. Ekene-Afa's husband is a painter named Kura. The pair had two twin sons named Soshen and Tiryk. Both sons were named after Chultan rivers.
